The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is required by the applicable environmental legislation for planned projects and activities that may have significant environmental impacts. The purpose of this study is to assess the environmental impact generated by new investments or by the enterprises’ modernization / upgrade. The EIA is a basic component necessary to be submitted by a company in order to obtain its Decision on Environmental Conditions (Environmental Permit).

Ecovision offers the support at both stages of the EIA procedure:

  • screening process; and
  • Environmental Impact Study preparation including project characteristics; site setting characteristics; description of environmental factors such as human beings, fauna and flora, soil, water, air, climate and the landscape, material assets and the cultural heritage; prognosis of impacts; assessment of impacts and recommendations.
